As I was browsing in the net, I stumble upon a site that used to show replay of one of the biggest TV broadcasting in the Philippines – ABS-CBN. However, when I open the website Pinoy-TV-Replay.com, a notice of complaint was served. It says:

ABS-CBN Corporation, et al. v. JONATHAN DELA CRUZ, et al.

On April 20, 2015, in the United States District Court for the District of Florida, ABS-CBN Corporation, filed a Complaint For Damages and Injunctive Relief. The filings and orders in this matter are available below.

4/20/2015 COMPLAINT FOR DAMAGES AND FOR INJUNCTIVE RELIEF….

This is serious stuff! I know is this about infringing ABS-CBN’s content and a classic example of piracy but to think of, it is somewhat related to the fight between Manny Pacquiao vs Mayweather?

We all know that Judge George Wu permitted premium cable companies a temporary restraining order to ensure that there will be no free shows of the fight. “This temporary restraining order is issued and effective as of 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time on April 30, 2015 and will expire at 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time on May 7, 2015.”

Anyway, for anyone out there who still thinks that this type of site is cool or lucrative in a way, better think twice! The site’s owner even have a disclaimer but that he did not own any videos embedded content, movies and TV shows found on the site and yet a complaint has been made.

This is so similar to Piratebay and many other sites that has been shutdown due to content infringement. So, be careful guys!
