How to Open an Account with Citiseconline or COLfinancial

June 28th, 2012|Blog|7 Comments

Out of the blue, I received an email from a Filipino colleague here in Singapore with a subject “PS: Wag nyo kong tularan… (Share lang)” and with an attach *.pdf file titled “stocks.pdf”.

My first impression was “This guy must have lost a lot of money in stocks and has warned us all”. And believe it or not, it always rings a bell every time I heard the word “stocks”. It feels like something inside you whispering to your ears to negate  everything about it.

Of course, I know a lot about stocks…. who’s not??? It’s very popular in the movie films like “Pursuit of Happiness by Will Smith” & the cutting-edge movie  “Limitless by Bradley Cooper” – A writer discovers a top-secret drug which bestows him with super human abilities and became rich because of stocks trading.

Seriously? I don’t really know anything about it except from movies I’ve watched. I told you, I hate it and my ears suddenly become deaf  whenever I heard the word stocks….

Due to my curiosity of what really happened to my colleague , I read the stocks.pdf and… VOILA!, everything was changed. The real title of this ebook was “My Maid Invests in the  Stock Market… And Why You Should , Too!”. This is actually an e-book from Bo Sanchez – #1 Bestselling Filipino Author of “Choose to be Wealthy”. A very short inspiring 29 pages book.

So, the next question is, What’s inside the book that changed me?

Well, (Page 19) Whenever people say, “The stock market is dangerous!”, they’re referring to TRADING in the stock market. Not INVESTING in the stock market. There’s a big difference.

Basically, the book encourages us to invest in the stock market, not trade. Here’s the basic difference: Trading is buying stocks and selling them within a day or a few days. Investing is buying stocks and selling them in six months or never!.

And so, I choose to Invest in stocks and hopefully become a millionaire when I reach 50’s. 😛

If you’re a first time investor in the stock market or an OFW, like me, who wants to invest in stocks, Citiseconline is highly recommended.

For OFW, How to Open an Account with Citiseconline guide.

Pacquiao vs Bradley Fight Results – Watch Manny Pacquiao vs Timothy Bradley Fight

Pacquiao vs Bradley Fight Result

Pacquiao vs Bradley Fight Results: Manny Pacquiao WINS versus Timothy Bradley. Winner by TKO, 3rd round.

YES, Wide swings and wide open angles from Bradley in June 9, 2012, reminds me of Hatton but a bit faster.. Pacquiao’s gonna catch him with counters and it’s over by TKO @ 3rd round. Yet another boxer who can’t get over his first lost. 😀

I know Pacquiao is naturally smaller than Bradley but Pacquiao is maintaining his weight. I’ve seen Timothy Bradley’s fight and he never had one punch KO power. Of course, there is absolutely no reason to think that an accumulation of well timed punches wont hurt Pacquiao also BUT  it ain’t this fight.

Well? See for yourself tomorrow. Manny Pacquiao pounds Timothy Bradley at 3rd round. Forcing Bradley’s coach to stop the fight. Winner by TKO: Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao maintains his WBO Welterweight Belt. Whereas, Timothy Bradley suffer his 1st lost to Pacquiao vanished his record to  (28-0-1)  while Pacquiao gains a remarkable  (55-3-2) boxing record.

That is definitely going to be the result between Pacquiao vs Bradley’s fight in June 9, 2012 in Las Vegas MGM Grand Arena. Haha! Of course, I am biased in favor of our very own Filipino Boxing Champion – Manny Pacman Pacquiao.

Yes, I know Timothy Bradley has a hard rock-like body figure boxer but Pacquiao will

Jessica Sanchez is the next American Idol 2012 winner! No doubt about it. Of course, I am so proud that a Fil-Am is one of the contestant who made it on the top 12 American Idol contests. In fact, she is the first Filipino-American who made it this far and she is only 16.

Windows 8: The Future Operating System

March 5th, 2012|Technology|0 Comments

Windows 8

I would say Windows 8 is vividly amazing and I guess will be the future operating system. Why? Obviously, Microsoft have already predicted the fast-pace, low-cost and now widely accepted touch-screen technology from smartphones, machine interface, and now smart-TV’s. It is clear enough that they expanding out not only to Personal Computer Operating System but to all-in-one OS that will have the ability to communicate each other. Isn’t this what Apple is doing? 😀

Microsoft Windows 8 feature is not really a total new innovation at all. In fact, this kind of technology already exist in our everyday life – in our smartphones. The “slide to open” features, metro ui, windows 8 cloud connection, windows store, and apps (applications) were already in use for quite some time. In my opinion, Windows 8 is basically just an upgrade to my smartphone Windows OS7. Hehe..

One thing for sure, Windows 8 was specifically built for on touch-enabled PCs. If you don’t the have a touch-screen monitor,  then I suggest you stay in Windows 7. Anyway, for those who want to try Windows 8, you may download the consumer preview or the developer version for FREE. Check links below

Bela Padilla: Before and After FHM Photo Cover

March 3rd, 2012|Entertainment|0 Comments

Bela Padilla “Stepping Out of the Shadows” controversial racist FHM magazine cover March 2012 issue which shows Bela Padilla in a bikini among a group of dark-skinned models has now changed to Bela Padilla solo image “I Want to Emerge with My Own Name” which, in my personal opinion, is a dull and one BIG
