Valentines Day is fast approaching and I still haven’t had any idea on mind what I shall give to my hubby. My friends would say that it’s enough to be with him during that day but we’ve been accustomed to give presents and gifts during this special day of hearts. Much more it’s our first Valentines day since we’re in Singapore.

Celebrating Valentines Day in Singapore Flyer

We are actually planning to have a nice dinner in the Singapore Flyer during Valentines Day and I am sure he’s going to give some presents to me… I am actually excited on what he’s going to give. haha!

Another option we have in mind is that, we’re just going to celebrate valentines day here at home only since we are on a tight budget because I am expecting to have baby angel Zoe this coming May 2011 and it’ll definitely cost us a lot. $3.7k to $6k for a delivery here in Singapore? Yeah, that much since we are not Singaporeans and PR. We can’t get from medisave.

Anyway, Love letter? Roses? Chocolates? Expensive Dinner? Marriage Proposal in Valentines day? We’ve been through all that and it doesn’t seem to excite me anymore. Of course, under a long term relationship, everything feels ordinary. Not that I am saying I don’t feel the excitement anymore but now I got a feeling that we need to be more practical nowadays especially we’re expecting a baby soon.

Oh well, if you’ve got any ideas on how to celebrate Valentines Day to your love ones inexpensively, uniquely and romantically, please let me know. Cheers! 😉

Since it is Valentines Day soon… I am posting my favorite love quote:
“Love is when the other person’s happiness is more important than your own.”
